What is Zeltiq?

Which parts of my body can Zeltiq treat?

How long does each Zeltiq Coolsculpting treatment take?

This depends on the number of areas to be treated in each session. Each area will take 1 hour. For example, both love handles, considered 2 treatment areas will take 2 hours (2 cycles) in total.

How many sessions would I need before I see results?

You will see results after one session. The fat cells that are destroyed will be cleared away by natural processes in your body. This can take up to two months for the final results to be appreciated.

How many sessions are recommended for each area?

Between one to a maximum of three sessions, depending on your requirements and amount of existing fat.

Would I experience any pain during or after treatment?

Apart from the sensation of the suction device and brief feeling of intense cold, you will not feel any pain as the skin is cooled down to the desired temperature. Many people spend this time reading, working on their laptop or even taking a nap. After the treatment, most patients report that apart from some aching sensation, they were able to return to their work or social activities right away. Most were able to get back to their exercise routine within a couple of days. Very rarely did our patients require any sort of painkiller for the discomfort.

Can I return to normal activities after my procedure?

Yes! The Coolsculpting procedure is completely non-invasive, so you can return to normal activities immediately. You might experience mild tenderness, redness, minor bruising, tingling or numbness post treatment, but most will find this is hardly noticeable. Our clients are back at their normal activities the very next day. There is literally no downtime for Zeltiq Coolsculpting.

How much fat can I expect to lose in one session?

Zeltiq Coolsculpting has been proven to consistently reduce on average, 22% of fatty tissue after a single treatment. When will I see results?

You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after two months. But your body is still flushing fat cells and will continue to do so for up to six months.

Are the results permanent?

When you have your Coolsculpting procedure, the treated fat cells will be eliminated. This process of flushing out of fat cells have been documented to last up to six months. As long as you maintain your weight with diet and exercise, your long-term result should remain stable.
