Square Jaw:
The Asian concept of beauty is rooted in a face shape that is likened to an inverted triangle (gua zi lian). Unfortunately, not everyone is born with such a face shape- some of us have a very broad or squarish jaw line due to bulky masseter muscles (jaw muscle).

The good news for those of us aspiring to a slimmer face shape: Our treatment targets the masseter muscles (jaw muscle) greatly reduces the jaw width. This in turn inactivates the jaw muscles to a certain degree, leading to a gradual reduction in the size of the jaw muscles. In suitable candidates, this achieves a slimmer, softer look without the need for painful major bone-restructuring surgery.

We recommend 2 treatments, spaced 3 months apart for optimal long-lasting effects. Each treatment session involves a painless injection to both sides of the jaw. You can leave the clinic immediately after without any need to take time off work or social activities. You will start to notice a change in your face shape in 3 to 4 weeks, and the usual feedback would be that friends and family invariably comment you have slimmed down. Our patients report that our treatment programme give them results that last between 1 to 2 years*

Highly recommended treatments to go along with square jaw reduction

Very often, we like to combine square jaw reduction with a chin and nose filler augmentation. This is especially applicable to candidates who have a deficient chin or nose bridge. This has the synergistic effect of creating a more elegant, slimmer facial profile. The reason is simple: by restoring the proportions on your nose, chin and jaw area, dramatic improvements can be made to the overall shape of your face.

Bruxism:
Know someone who grinds his or her teeth at night? This condition is called Bruxism and is usually caused by the jaw muscles working excessively in sleep. The treatment applied in the same way for broad jawline can help to alleviate this condition with very satisfying results.
