Yellow Ribbon Project: Freia Medical Aesthetics is proud to be involved in the yellow ribbon project: helping unlock the second prison. Dr Harold Ma is part of the team of doctors who devote part of their time to help inmates undergo tattoo removal programs. Part of the difficulty of re-integrating into society stems from misplaced prejudice and unfounded suspicion. This is sometimes exacerbated by tattoos bearing symbols, hindering employment and acceptance at the workplace. We believe that in helping these inmates remove their tattoos, it is symbolic of their leaving their troubled past behind as well as overcoming a big obstacle to the re-integration process. It is this vision that drives us to involve ourselves in this yellow ribbon project. |
